For those new to it, Knowledge Ketchup is our flavorful twist on the classic ‘lunch and learn.’ Each week, a Gurzu team member takes the stage to share something that they know with the rest of the team. Here are the sessions we had this month:
November 13: Eliminating Waste in Software Development
In this session, Ganesh talked about “Eliminating Waste in Software Development,” focusing on identifying inefficiencies that slow down projects. He highlighted strategies to streamline workflows, reduce rework, and prioritize high-value tasks, ensuring smoother processes and delivering impactful results efficiently.
November 20: Upselling
Abinash explored the concept of “Upselling,” emphasizing how every team member can contribute to driving additional value for clients. The discussion covered recognizing upselling opportunities, building stronger client relationships, and aligning efforts across teams to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

Gurzu Standard GIT Convention
We recently hosted the ‘Gurzu Standard Git Convention,’ where five of our team leads shared key insights on Git best practices. Topics included optimizing README, ENV, and .gitignore, effectively managing issues, features, and bugs, mastering Git branches and commits, conducting impactful PR reviews, and streamlining version tags, releases, and change logs. It was an in-depth session focused on enhancing our version control practices.

Shopify has announced the REST Admin API as a legacy API as of October 1, 2024, which means all apps and integrations should be built with the GraphQL Admin API.
